Right off the bat Genesis tells us:
When Adam & Eve were in the Garden of Eden,
everything was perfect and beautiful,
lush Earth bringing forth abundance
under all the cycles of Heaven.
Then God of Heaven laid down laws for his innocent children.
But the Snake of Earth led the woman astray,
and the woman led the man astray,
and thus loss and suffering were born.
In this story, only Heaven is unpunished,
while Earth and Humanity suffer for their mistakes.
Heaven remains pure, while Earth is accurst.
The One rules from above.
Heaven v Earth is the template for our Cultures.
We see Heaven as the Spiritual part of us,
Earth as our Bodily aspect.
So the Mind is spiritual, heavenly,
while the Body is earthly, sinful, mortal
Oh its a lie! The mind was never pure!
Extending the Duality:
Rules & Scriptures are heavenly, Appetites & Urges are earthly.
Seed & Semen are heavenly, Egg & Womb are earthly.
Industry is heavenly – the Earth is ours to use.
We are the Chosen, the Others are enemies.
The whole thing is a game of Dominance & Submission.
The hunter kills the prey, the driver goads the oxen.
We build our societies around a hierarchy
based on this ancient duality.
God is on top of the pyramid.
Male rules over Female.
Man tames and uses Nature.
The strong dominate the weak.
All power comes from the top.
This kind of society rips us all in half.
We hate our own bodies and our earthlyness.
We are alienated from the spirit of Nature.
The rich get richer while the poor get poorer.
We end up living in a Luxury Shithole,
with people going off like bombs in the street,
while the Holders of Power are losing their grip.
I truly believe equality would work as a basis for society.
A preacher says:
Ye have strayed from the ways of His righteousness,
Ye have bowed to Mother Earth, to evil,
but Father God is a jealous god,
and his wrath will smite you!
But I tell you, preacher:
Mother Earth is slow to anger,
but her wrath is real.
Her smiting has already begun.
We be smote!
