Jennifer, sometimes they were spectacular events, and sometimes they were chaotic messes. Usually, you can’t tell which from the photos!

Thanks, Andrew. One thing I love about the blog is that I can show how my drawing, my bodypainting, my performance work, my photography, are all really variations on the same art. For some reason in exhibitions I could never really get that across, but it works on the blog!

Shela, I think 100 years ago the glow-in-the-dark paint was made with radium, so they probably did get ill! Are you familiar with Dana Salisbury’s dark dining events? No phosphorescent dishes, but the idea is the lack of vision heightens all the other senses. Dana also does “Unseen Dance” events – multisensory performances for blindfolded audiences. I haven’t been to Dark Dining – out of my price range – but I highly recommend Unseen Dances!
