\nNowaday only the poor or naive
\nrisk life and limb and soul –

Back then there was a doomsday bomb.
\nNowaday thats still with us
\nbut weve learned to ignore it,
\nmostly.<\/p>\n
Back then a War was a fight to the finish,
\nclear victory at bloody price.
\nNowaday Wars just another industry
\nsucking public funds into private pockets –
\na well that gushes dollars!<\/p>\n
Who dares say
\nWar makes us all poor?
\nThe old legends tout the riches of war,
\nbut I aint seen um hereabouts.
\nI do see the poor, tho,
\nand the traumatized,
\nerrywhere.<\/p>\n
