\nfocused on the inner being,
\nnurturing the Self.<\/p>\n
Now, the World demands a turn outward:
\nto save us all from angry fear,
\nto build new relations
\nfor a new time.<\/p>\n
Our Generation tho:
\nWe trust Society to self correct,
\nand we withdraw ever more,
\nwhile outside, the world gets worse.<\/p>\n
It gets worse.<\/p>\n
Ha!<\/p>\n
Society is just a bigger Self,
\nso the work we have done on our own Self
\ninforms our mutual work realizing
\na New Agreement of the People,
\na Society of Common Good.<\/p>\n
We individual people, we link one to one,
\nwe negotiate our needs and wants,
\nand thus begin to weave a web.<\/p>\n
The web begins to grow
\nUnder Ground.
\nConnections are made and ripple outward.<\/p>\n
On the Surface,
\nin the Now,
\ntendrils, nodes, and meshes emerge.<\/p>\n
From the Ground
\nUpward
\ngrows the New Agreement.<\/p>\n
