A shadow eyelid slowly reveals that milky orb:
\nMoon holds an ember of Sun up at night, a lantern.
\nSilver shines in fibers of grass, and droplets of dew,
\na horn of abundance in the eyes of an owl.<\/p>\n
Then the shadow curtain is drawn over again:
\nIn deep dark black, the cobwebs crumble:
\nWhat is over and done dissolves in the damp,
\nwhile the true Soul survives the valley of shadow.<\/p>\n
Here in the dark phase, we pray
\nfor what we don’t even know if it exists.
\nHere in the interval of shuteye,
